How the Convocation Works
New to convocation? Here's everything you need to do — from registering online to walking across the stage. Follow each step carefully to ensure a smooth, stress-free experience on the day.
Register Online
Log in to the Student Portal and complete your convocation registration form before the deadline.
Arrive Early
Report to your designated seating area between 8:00 AM – 9:30 AM on the day of the ceremony.
Day of the Ceremony
The convocation unfolds across a carefully curated programme. Arrive early, dress with pride, and be present for every moment.
Registration & Seating
Students must report to their designated seating areas. Latecomers will not be permitted to join the academic procession.
Academic Procession
Arrival of the Chief Guest, Chancellor, Vice-Chancellor, and members of the Academic Council.
Convocation Ceremony
Convocation address, conferring of degrees, presentation of medals, and the graduation pledge.
Lunch & Photo Session
Festive lunch for graduates and families, followed by official photograph sessions with faculty.
Important Guidelines
Dress Code
Wear the official convocation gown over formal attire. Men: light-colored shirt with dark trousers. Women: Saree or Salwar Kameez in light colors.
Security & ID
Bring your valid Student ID Card and Convocation Pass. Digital copies will not be accepted at the main gate.
Mobile Phones
Phones must be kept on silent mode throughout the ceremony. Photography near the dais is strictly prohibited.
Punctuality
Latecomers will be denied entry to the procession. Plan for early arrival to avoid inconvenience.
Guest Passes
Each graduate is entitled to two guest passes. Passes are non-transferable and must be presented at entry.
